Barça Training Philosophy & Methodology

Tactical

We consider each player as an individual and their understanding of the game. By using FC Barcelona's renowned methodology, each player learns to better understand the game and gains a comprehensive understanding of tactics, fundamentals, and the roles and responsibilities of each position within the team.

Technical

Barça Academy training sessions are designed to develop players' functional technique and consistent decision-making, at a pace comparable to match situations. Players not only deepen and broaden their knowledge and understanding of the beautiful game of handball but also develop their skills through the Barça methodology and the ability to make quick decisions in realistic match situations.

Trainers

The Technical Director and coaches of FC Barcelona/Barça Academy ensure that the training meets and maintains the same high quality standards as the Barça Academy in Barcelona. Our experienced local coaches assist during the training sessions.
The handball training sessions and instruction are provided in the local language and English, and we guarantee that a local coach is always present in each group.

* The training kit is mandatory for all training sessions.
Please note: it is not possible to change the size after registration.
If the player is between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.

    Resin (only if permitted in the sports hall)

    Warm clothing for the lunch break

What's not included?

    Overnight stay
    Transportation (to the location and possibly between locations)

Four days of inspiring and enjoyable training led by the official Barça Academy coaches.

Limited number of participants per age group (U13, U15, U17, U19). Don't miss out!
The players will be coached by FC Barcelona/Barça Academy coaches, in collaboration with experienced Dutch assistant coaches.
Barça Academy Camps Nike training kit (T-shirt, shorts, socks, water bottle, and gym bag).
